MOV8 Real Estate is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as finalists in both of the categories that we entered in for the Scott & Co Legal Awards 2015. Those two categories are Community Contribution and Employer of the Year. It is an honour to be shortlisted amongst so many fantastic legal firms.
The Legal Awards, now in their 13th year, celebrate the best the legal profession has to offer in Scotland. This year, we decided enter the two categories that mean most to us: Community Contribution and Employer of the Year. Why these ones?
We believe that, regardless of the type of legal and non-legal services that we provide to our clients, the very best service and results for our clients starts and ends with our people. We are also firm in our conviction that, regardless of what we are doing, our company should be giving back to those less fortunate than ourselves.
Delivering great service and value starts with recruiting the brightest talent and then training those people to achieve their full potential. We have worked hard over the years to provide a friendly, challenging and rewarding working environment for our staff here at MOV8 and last year that effort was recognised when we were fortunate enough to be shortlisted for the Business Insider, Employer of the Year awards.
We also put a lot of effort, throughout 2014, into our Corporate Social Responsibility programme and it’s great that this effort has been recognised by the Scottish Legal Awards.
As well as doing a great job for our clients we also like to give back by donating 10% of company profits to local, national and international causes. Our work with the Big Issue, with funding a new playground for Corstorphine Primary School and with other charitable causes, is a source of great pride and also enjoyment for our staff and we are all truly delighted to be shortlisted.
