Robert Carroll trained as a solicitor at Maclay Murray and Spens before putting several years of studying Scottish and French law, and two years of legal training, to good use by working as a DJ and pianist in Southeast Asia.
On returning to the UK he worked as a litigation solicitor, maintaining a 100% success record in the courts, before joining international commercial law firm DLA Piper as an Intellectual Property solicitor.
He subsequently trained and worked as a self-employed property sales agent with a multinational estate agency firm and then an Edinburgh solicitors’ firm, bringing nearly 100 properties to the market in his first year.
Out of a belief that neither the solicitor nor estate agency model provides the best possible service to the property-buying and selling public, Robert set up MOV8 Real Estate.
His firm belief is that by providing the best working environment, sales training and support for its self-employed Property Sales Agents, and by focusing on maximum results for clients instead of image and self-promotion, MOV8 Real Estate clients will get the best service and results in the sales and purchase of their properties anywhere in the UK.
Robert is a certified Success Coach with the Christopher Howard Companies, speaks very fluent French and good German, is a PADI-certified Advance Open Water Diver, and from time to time sings at weddings. He is mortified by his photo.
He is passionate about helping people develop to the fullest of their potential and recruits only Property Sales Agents who have a passion for people and life.
Robert lives in Edinburgh and travels throughout the UK scouting for the best of property sales talent in the UK.
He advises high net worth individuals in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London on maximizing their return on their property investments through expert property marketing, sales and purchasing advice and negotiation.
